Modernized Tax Compliance SaaS Platform

A digital transformation initiative that modernized the legacy systems of one the world's Big 4 accounting firms, driving efficiency and customer engagement through a cloud-native, microservices architecture.

This project focused on migrating the customer’s legacy internal applications into modern, customer-facing solutions using a microservices-based architecture. The client, one of the Big Four accounting firms, sought to modernize and scale their operations by adopting cloud technologies and automation. The project involved a detailed roadmap for converting over 10+ legacy monolith applications into independent, cloud-native microservices.

By implementing Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) as the container orchestrator and Helm for automation, the team created a scalable, secure platform capable of delivering multiple SaaS modules to various end-user organizations. The transformation enhanced the customer's service delivery by reducing operational complexity and enabling faster response times for customer-facing applications.

The project also included the development of critical microservices for application management, tenant onboarding, and automated billing, which provided the foundation for future enhancements. With a robust CI/CD pipeline, the customer was able to continuously deploy updates, ensuring that their services remained cutting-edge and responsive to customer needs.
